Step 1: Paint wall black. Most pallet slats have imperfections, knot holes or cracks that will show up if you don’t paint the wall black first
Step 2: Disassemble pallets. I use a sawzall to cut the nails and it works pretty well.
Step 3: Pallet slats come in all different widths. Make sure u have enough of the same width slats to go the entire length of the wall.
Step 4: When attaching pallets to wall. Use a little liquid nail on the back of each slat then use trim nails to hold it in place. I bought a 18ga Brad nailer and it works great for this.
